DIY GEOMETRIC SCULPTURE
Gather your friends together for crafting and drinks. This project is amazing, but quite an undertaking.  I really appreciate that they created a video with step by step instructions - which is perfect for someone who is as impatient and terrible at directions as me! You can find the tutorial HERE.

NEPALI HANGING DECORATIONS
So, I'm completely in love with OhHappyDay. How I've managed to live my life up until now without this amazing blog is beyond me. Do yourself a favor and check out a few of her other delightful creations (and also - Fruit Balloons) that are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. These adorable NEPALI HANGING DECORATIONS are no exception. How much fun would these be at your next party?

HANDMADE BIRD-MOBILE
How stinkin' cute is this? Mobiles aren't just for children any more. Hell, I'd totally hang one of these  above my bed. The birds consist of two pieces of fabric that you hand sew together, which is incredibly easy. You can find more about this project HERE and the pattern HERE

POM POM ANIMAL PIN CUSHION
For the seamstress in your life! This idea is so fun. I mean honestly, look at it.  My sewing machine has been pleading with me up in the attic for attention. I feel like this is just another sign from the sewing gods that I need to get it back down.  You can find the tutorial for this brilliant bit of pom pom goodness HERE

DIY FRUIT BALLOONS
A fruit party! What a good idea! Brilliant craft goddess Brittany Watson Jepsen of The House That Lars Built created this whimsical little decoration for OhHappyDay and what a happy day it will be if you have these in your home!

  3. I am planning a party for my husband and wanted a unique idea. I was thinking of doing a fruit party (not luau, not tropical) just fruit after seeing plates at Oriental Trader. Maybe I'll copy your fruit balloons. I promise to give you credit when I write about it on my blog.

    1. Hey Katharine - I didn't create the fruit balloons - credit is noted at the bottom of the photo so please credit the appropriate artist! Thanks!
